This Week at Patchwork Angels Quilt Shop
We had a great weekend with an overnight retreat and are getting back into the swing of things after the holidays!
We have had a really good response on our Pantie Raid, but more donations will be gladly received through Saturday, January 23. Pick out a fat quarter when you bring your donation in. The folks at the Rise Domestic Violence Shelter will be grateful for whatever new undergarments you can spare!
We had a great time with our $5 sale on the sale fabric and reduced that inventory quite a bit, but there is a lot left, so through Friday, January 22, the sale fabric is back to $6.99 per yard, but if you empty the bolt, we'll only charge you $5 per yard.
Saturday, January 23 is Local Quilt Shop Day and to say thank you for your business all year, we will be taking 25% off all merchandise that day, including sale fabric! The more you buy the more you save!
Our class listings have been updated... take a look through and see what might interest you. If nothing does, drop by and make a suggestion. We have several teachers ready to teach almost anything, just need a good suggestion.
The following classes are on the schedule for January in addition to our regular Open Sew sessions on Monday and Friday evenings and Tuesday during the day:
Thursday, January 21 from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm: Open Sew with Estie Mowry
Saturday, January 23: National Local Quilt Shop Day: Specials and prizes!
Saturday, January 23 from 10 am to 6 pm: Speedy Strips (currently fully booked)
Monday, January 25 from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm: UFO Open Sew
Wednesday, January 27 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm: Quilting Basics
Saturday, January 30 from 10 am to 2 pm: Block of the Month Open Sew
Saturday, January 30 from 2 pm to 6 pm: Binding Tool Star with Candy Beardsley
Sunday, January 31 from Noon to 4 pm: Wool Club
Call the shop at (607) 748-0682 or stop in at the shop to sign up for classes!
Reminder, as the weather threatens, call the shop before venturing out to ensure we are open. If the local schools are closed, we will probably be closed as well; although if the weather does not remain bad, we may be open later in the day. Safest just to call ahead. We will send a notice when we close early or close for the day (as long as we have power and internet, of course)!
Happy Quilting! Stay safe and warm! Rose and the gals at Patchwork Angels Quilt Shop.
